3. Identify your areas of work or the profile you are interested, even if they are paying to some extent less.

4. Ask these questions to yourself: Are you using your CA Degree and skills at the right place? Will you work in that profile if told to work late nights ? Is this the work really suits you?

5. Break your CA Final subjects into different profile

FR: Controllership, IND AS, FAAS

SFM: Valuation, Finance, Private Equity, IB Analyst, FDD, CDD

Audit : Statutory, Internal.

Law: Companies Act and Other Act, Compliances.

SCMPE: Cost Optimisation, Budgeting, Forecasting, FP&A

Elective: Correlate with your expertise

DT: Direct tax, M&A Tax and IT, Consultancy

IDT: GST, Custom, litigation

6. Next step to decide whether to go to Big 4, CA Firm, Consultancy, Industry, Start up, IB, CA Practice, family business

Applying to those vacancies with profiles where you really wants and please dont be fascinated by CTC (If you have desired skills you can double your salary in short span of time, and in some companies fixed component is very less but the CTC is hi so salary should be a factor but not the priority).

Note: Dont apply unnecessary in any profile since there is blockage of 6-12 months where you cant apply again even if there is better profile in the same company.

8. ICAI Campus will be there but what I believe its all suspense (Location, Profile, Companies which come in your centre, Vacancy all are suspense )

so what I suggest apply off campus as well

9. Resume is the integral path to selection Key Point : Make changes to your resume according to your profile you are applying, it should be dynamic and not static.

10. Interview is just about how confidently you are replying to their answers and how you deal on the spot questions (They just want to see your natural thoughts and how you solve practical case studies without going very much on technical except some profiles

11. Go where you wanted to go, rather following where others are going.
