🔶 شفای دختر مسیحی با توسل به امام حسین🔶

وقتی سپاه یزید سر مبارک امام حسین را به سمت شام می برند در یکی از منازل در صومعه ای توقف کرد. راهب صومعه در دیر خود، آن سر مقدس را دید که نوری از آن ساطع است پس به نزد آن لشکر و نگاهبانان آمده و گفت: از کجا آمده‏‌اید؟ گفتند: از عراق، با حسین جنگ کرده‏‌ایم! راهب گفت: با پسر دختر پیغمبر و فرزند پسر عم رسول و پیغمبر خودتان؟ گفتند: آری! گفت: وای بر شما! اگر عسیی بن مریم را فرزندی بود ما او را برچشمان خود می‏‌نشاندیم! از شما تقاضایی دارم! گفتند: چیست؟ گفت: به امیر خود بگوئید، 10 هزار درهم نزد من است که از پدرانم به ارث برده‏‌ام آن را از من بگیرد و این سر مقدس را تا هنگام رفتن از این جا در اختیار من بگذارد. و آنان جریان را به امیر خود گفتند و او موافقت کرد و درهم‌ها را گرفت و سر مقدس را به او سپرد. راهب آن سر مقدس را به مشک و کافور، معطر کرد و در پارچه‌یی قرار داد و در دامن خود نهاد و زار زار گریست تا هنگام رفتن آن راهب به سر مقدس گفت: فردای قیامت مرا نزد جدت شفاعت کن و من به یگانگی خدا و رسالت محمد شهادت داده و مسلمان شدم. آنگاه به آن لشکر گفت: من می‏‌خواهم با امیر شما صحبت کنم پس نزدیک او آمد و گفت: تو را به خدا و بحق محمد سوگند می‏‌دهم آنچه با این سر مقدس تاکنون کرده‏‌اید، دیگر مکنید! و این سر مقدس را از صندوق بیرون نیاورید! امیر گفت: چنین خواهیم کرد! پس سر را به آن‌ها تسلیم کرد و خود از دیر به زیر آمد و به یکی از کوهستان‌ها برای عبادت رفت. دختر نابینای او نیز که به شفاعت امام حسین (ع) شفا یافته بود در جستجوی حضرت زینب (س) روانه شد.

When the Yazid army killed Imam Husayn (as), they cut his head and held it in a box to take to Yazid. They stopped at a monastery in the middle of the path. at midnight, the monk saw a wave of light emanating from the head and reaching the heavens. He looked at them from above the monastery and asked, “Who are you?”
They replied, “We are associates of Ibn Ziyad”. He asked, “Whose head is this?” and they replied, “It is of Husayn, the son of Ali bin Abi Talib (as) and Fatemah (sa), the daughter of the Prophet of Allah (S)”. He asked, “You mean your Prophet?” and they replied in the affirmative. Hearing this he said, “You are among the worst of men. If Maseeh (Prophet Isa) would have had a son, we would have placed him upon our eyes”.
He continued, “Do you desire anything, and could you do me a favor?” They asked as to what was it, and he replied, “I have ten thousand Ashrafi with me, you may take it and give me the head. Let it remain with me until the dawn, and when you proceed further, take it back from me”. They replied, “We are at no loss due to this”, saying this they handed the head over to him and he gave them the Ashrafis in return. 
The monk washed the head, perfumed it and kept it upon his thigh and wept profusely until it dawned. And when it dawned he said, “O head! I do not have authority upon anything except myself. I bear witness that there is no Deity except Allah and that your Grandfather is the Prophet of Allah! You bear witness that I am your friend and a slave”. Then he renounced the monastery and all that was therein, and entered the ranks of the slaves of Ahlul Bayt (a.s) And her daughter, who was blind, was healed by the intercession of Imam Husayn (a.s) and followed by Hazrat Zeinab (sister of Imam Husayn (a.s)).
