Professor Ayhan Demirbas joined BRJ`s Editorial Board.

Professor Ayhan Demirbas`s research on various types of biofuels in particular biodiesel is internationally recognized. Dr. Demirbas received his PhD (1980) in Chemical Engineering from Ankara University (Turkey). He then joined Selcuk University (SU, Turkey) in 1982 as an Assistant Professor. He moved to Karadeniz Technical University (KTU) in 1986 and was made a professor in 1991. Professor Demirbas is currently a full professor at Department of Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, King Abdulaziz University (Saudi Arabia).
Professor Demirbas has authored 413 papers and 3 books. His publications has received 11526 citations (Source: Scopus, 17 December 2015). He holds an h-index of 61. Dr. Demirbas has successfully supervised 21 MS and 6 PhD theses. He has edited the Journal of Energy, Education, Science & Technology since 1998 and was a member of Editorial Board of the Journal of Energy Conversion & Management from 1999 to 2004.
