"The Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, was an apostle of Allah, and His Word that He cast toward Mary and a spirit from Him 4:71"

The light & purity of a person's soul emanates from his intentions and spreads to his deeds.

Having self-restraint means;
To be careful with my intentions, lest they be malevolent and engulf all my beautiful deeds!

One of the places prayers are answered, is at the grave of one's parents

Imam Ali (a) said:

Visit (the graves of) your deceased ones, for surely they will rejoice at your visit, and ask for your needs (from God) by the grave of your father and by the grave of your mother after you have prayed for them.

A truly clever person acts like a powerful businessman, and invests (his time, wealth, talents, etc.) in such a way that the rewards of his good deeds will reach him even after his death.

Things like writing a book with the intention of guiding people to the straight path, or donating to a charity that is working to make the world a better place for everyone, or even raising a good and faithful child will have its rewards coming back to us even long after we depart.

And everyone can do this. For example, when you gift the deceased faithful people with charity and prayers, God, in his infinite mercy, will multiply the reward for your good deed.

I asked Ayatollah Bahjat:
"Please teach me a great dhikr."

He told me:
"Do you want me to teach you a dhikr which is more valuable than all the gems in the mountains and pearls in the seas?"

I said: "Yes!" and I was really expecting a long and meticulous dhikr.
He said:

"Istighfar ... Istighfar ... Istighfar!"
(seeking repentance from God)

and continued:

"If only you knew what treasures are hidden in Istighfar ...
It purifies your soul and opens up the doors of the heavens to you
It also makes granting your wishes by God much easier"

Rajab is the month of Istighfar and seeking repentance and asking God for forgiveness.

"I saw it with my own eyes; Believe me!"

This sentence is a testimony that someone may use to try to prove his claim about something that we have neither seen with our own eyes, nor we know the intention of the narrator! ...

Dear Mrs. and Mr. ;
When human dignity is at stake, it's ok to be doubtful.

When you see someone is being slandered in his absence, without having the opportunity to defend himself, for a moment put yourself in his shoes and interpret the bad behavior/deed that you are hearing about them, in a way that is good and acceptable, and do not allow their good image to be destroyed in the minds of others ...

Here, by being doubtful, you are not only breaking the chain of transmission of those unjust beliefs to others, but you are also indirectly showing the speaker that you are not interested in hearing such gossips.

And in this way, you extinguish the fire of a sin!
