1.Questions on pgbp, capital gains, articleship experience in tax, international taz questions

2. You need to be thorough with logics

3. They won't ask plain provision
Like they asked the logic behind grandfathering provisions

4. Why indirect transfer was bought by the government

5. Difference between slump sale and demerger

6. Indirect transfer, questions on 195, deemed income

7.Different bw sec 43a and 43aa

8.Explain vodafone case (this was asked after I was asked my opinion on sec 9)

9.Different b/w professional service and technical services

Cohort's Interview Experience

Sharing the Experience of One of the Tech Company's Cohorts Recruitment Process

1. Assessment Test
Test was in 2 parts
20mks (12m Technical+8m English)
20mks Ind As+DT+SFM
If you want to get idea about logical+english part refer to engineer interview prep questions for that particular company

2. Technical Interview Round 1

-Family detail (give brief info abt who all are in your family, what they do)
-Mostly grilled me on Articleship experience:
+Companies in which sector you worked most.
+What makes them different in terms of accounting
+What is treatment in consolidation & SFS, in case of internal transfers
+Strength/weakness, your achievement, why you took attempt in CA final/ipcc etc.
+Which profile out of 7 you are interested in and then asked why

3. Technical Interview Round 2
-Tell me about yourself
-Based on introduction, I was asked few general questions
-Do you have any questions
- Interviewer briefed me about himself
- Tell me why Us (so I said that it's values matched mine)
I told one of the values as building trust with clients so interviewer asked me "How you build trust?"
so be ready to answer based on what you say confidently.
-Why IT industry, why not other/Big4
-How do you recognise revenues in long term contracts.
If you're opting for FP&A profile then other methods like based on time & material method knowledge is recommended

4. HR Interview Round
-How is the weather in your city
-Tell me about yourself
-What is one thing unique about you / thing which no one knows
-Are you ready to relocate
-Has someone in your family moved somewhere/ have you ever moved anywhere
(This round is also elimination round)
