The Fast of Daniel should start with a sincere question: WHAT DOES GOD WANT FROM ME IN THE NEXT 21 DAYS?

When we ask this question with sincerity, God truly shows us what He wants from us.

Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went home. And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days.

Most patriarchs of faith had a habit of seeking God and His direction as part of their daily routine. This Godly routine helps us see the world around us just like God does, and to have our mind always connected to Him.

Pause for a moment and ask yourself: ‘How many times have I asked God for an answer or a miracle?’

Now, think about this: ‘How many times have I expressed my gratitude to God?’

We often ask God for help but don’t always take the time to thank Him for the blessings HE GIVES, WILL GIVE, and HAS GIVEN us. Tomorrow is our opportunity to change this and give to God the due honour He deserves.
