🔴 The Virtue of Dua Kumayl on Friday Night
🔹 Kumayl narrates: I was sitting with my master Ali, peace be upon him, in Masjid al-Kufa, surrounded by a group of his companions. One of them asked about the meaning of the saying of the Almighty: "In it every wise matter is made distinct." He replied, "It is the night of the middle of Sha'ban, a night when destinies are decreed for those whose lives are in His control. No servant of God exists except that whatever is to befall him, good or bad, for the coming year, is decreed for him on the night of the middle of Sha'ban. No servant enlivens that night nor recites Dua Khidr except that his prayer is answered!"
🔹 When the master returned home, I went to his service at midnight and knocked on the door. He said, "O Kumayl! What brings you here?" I said, "O Commander of the Faithful! My purpose is the supplication of Khidr." He said, "O Kumayl! Sit down, and when you have memorized this prayer, recite it on every Friday night, or once a month, or once a year, or at least once in your lifetime, and God will provide you with solutions, support you, and never withhold His forgiveness from you."
