After 8 years of dedicated religious studies, I've come to the profound realization that Islam holds the pure truth. 🕊️ This transformative journey began with a chance meeting with a Muslim woman, who, despite my initial skepticism, opened my eyes to a perspective I never considered.

The process unfolded through intense discussions at an Islamic center, where my questions were met with answers rooted in logic and direct connection to the divine. 📚 It was a paradigm shift, realizing the depth of Islamic teachings compared to my previous understanding based on Christian-authored sources.

What intrigued me most was the consistent message across religions in their early days – a oneness of God and a shared respect for Jesus Christ as a prophet. However, historical events and power dynamics led to doctrinal changes in Christianity, diverting from the original teachings.

The unique aspect of Islam that captivated me was the non-worship of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), serving solely as a messenger and guide. This stood in stark contrast to my previous beliefs.

Exploring Muslim worship practices revealed a meticulous attention to God's prescribed method, from prayers to ablution. It emphasized the significance of divine etiquette, a concept I found absent in my previous religious studies.

After an intense week of exploration, I found myself at a crossroads, acknowledging Islam's undeniable truth. Yet, the journey didn't end there. It took two more months of prayer and seeking guidance before the moment of complete acceptance arrived.

This decision, however, came with its share of challenges. I faced expulsion from my job teaching the Gospel at universities and experienced rejection from former friends and colleagues.

Today, after four years as a Muslim, I reflect on this incredible journey with gratitude. The decision to embrace Islam was not easy, but it brought a deep sense of peace and a connection with the divine that I had never experienced before. 🌟
